Why is Mike Huckabee still in this?

Why is Mike Huckabee still in this? He has absolutely NO chance to win, so what's the deal? He is a spoiler in the race between the liberal wing and the conservative wing of the party, the exit polls thusfar have proven it every time.
Sean Hannity just spoke about an interview Huckabee gave recently in which Huck railed against Romney for 5 minutes but had no answer when asked about McCains moderate stances. It makes me wonder. Who would Huckabee's more conservative evangelical votes go for if he would accept hard reality and drop out.
Is it just animus brought on by religious bigotry? Remember, he is the one who innocently asked a reporter if it was true that Mormons believe Jesus and the devil were brothers. I simply can not understand why he doesn't drop out and let the chips fall where they may between the liberal choice and the conservative choice. He constantly attacks Romney though Romney isn't the front runner. What's up with that? Pray tell, because I don't understand this.
I'm just saying.
"I believe in grace, because I have seen it. In peace, because I have felt it. In forgiveness, because I needed it."
-George W. Bush
Pretty callous, but he's free to do whatever he wants to do. It will hurt him if he ever tries to run again. Maybe he's just gunnin' for Veep. McCain will leave him in tears standing by the punch bowl at the dance though.

..and that is the truth. He actually is leading in more states than Mitt. Mitt lost to McCain by 5 points in Florida, and Mike lost to McCain by 3 points in South Carolina. McCain has the West, the North and much of the midwest. Huckabee has the south. Romney, has a few states that either see him as a favorite son.
Decent chance that Huckabee will be second in delegate count on Tuesday night, with Romney of course third. Perhaps a chance well under 50%, but nonetheless a decent chance.
He is new version of Ross Perot. He is trying to get McCain nominated and hoping for a reward that will never come.
We'll see who has what delegates come Wednesday. And yes, I would rather McCain won than Romney. With that said, I can't stand McCain.
GO HUCK!

So with Huck, new national numbers
McCain 48
Romney 20
Huck 19
First question, why is Romney still in this? They are virtually tied and Huck has a chance in more states (GA, TN, AR, OK, AL and MO). It's not obvious that Huck is more out of this than Romney.
However, more importantly, the same poll asked about a head-to-head Romney-McCain race:
Among Rs:
McCain 62
Romney 29
Among Is:
McCain 60
Romney 21
This makes the same point that every exit poll has shown: Huck voters split more for McCain.
If Huck dropped out, McCain would be over 50% in most states. This would be game over for Romney. Romney should be very glad Huck is there to keep him in it in states like IL, CA, and others.

Mitt Romney voters are in denial just like the Fredheads were for a month or two. I like Mike Huckabee, and he does have as good a chance as Mitt. But they both loose to McCain. Yes, McCain is much better choice than Romney

so Huck staying in is doing Romney a favor. Of course Huck can not win in the west. After spending all this time and resources you might as well stay in till Feb. 5 and see how it plays out.
McCain '08
He's still got money and support. After super tues, sure, but at this point, there's no reason not to stay in.
Huckabee voters seem to go to McCain, not Romney... so the only guy he is hurting by staying in is McCain.

The fix is in..establishment wants McCain. They'll keep money going to Huckabee until Romney either clinches or folds.
Face it, Romney would have been out early without his personal fortune. I suspect the establishment in Washington is having nightmares over the possibility of a Romney Presidency. How can you control a guy like Romney?
Best thing that could happen for our country is to elect Romney. He's smart enough to see through the smoke screen, secure enough in his own skin to lead.
I hope the 87% of the country that believes in God prays over this one. We have a crapshoot with Obama, samo samo with Clinton and a chance for a frest start with Romney.
to drop out as there is for Mitt, regrettably.

To siphon off votes for Romney.
Look for Huck to play a role in the McCain administration - if there is one.
